What We Believe
Zion welcomes people from all walks of life to join with us in worship and ministry. We believe that God loves all people. Jesus came to live out that love through his teaching, healing, and forgiveness of sins. When the worst of humanity killed Jesus, God's love raised him up and once again showed how deep forgiveness runs. The Spirit has been sent to nurture us and guides us in our daily life of faith. Out of gratitude for God's love, we serve our neighbors both locally and around the world.
We welcome people who doubt, who are searching, who are broken and who are looking for a place to call home. You will find a warm welcome, room for your questions and comfort for your weary soul.
We have a traditional worship service at 8:30 on Sunday mornings. This service uses various liturgies out of the ELW worship hymnal, and has special music provided by either our Adult Choir or the Grace Notes, our handbell choir. This service is broadcast live on our Facebook or YouTube page. Join us at 8:30 and visit with the community, or watch any time after that.
Our Contemporary service is at 10:45 on Sunday mornings. This service is led by one of our worship bands and uses more contemporary music.
We have an informal family worship service on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 - 6:15 p.m. We will be meeting on the south lawn as long as weather permits, bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on and join us!
